When I first stepped through the gates of RED base, I wasn't welcome.
To them, I was just another face, a joke to the team, another flaw in the system,
a problem that would solve itself once reality hit me.
But I'm not a mistake.
I'm not the kind who leaves just because someone says "no."
My dog taught me loyalty.
My scars taught me to trust my instincts.
And war? It taught me how to survive. Again and again.
I'm not telling you this to complain.
I'm telling you so you'll understand why I'm here.

The second I saw her my skin heated and heart skipped a beat. I knew I had to know who she was. I knew I just needed to be near her.
