A meteor had struck a remote area upon Japan's landmass. Agents sent to examine the meteor had found something odd: a mysterious black cube of what seemed to be technological origin. This "black box" would find itself integrated into the inanimate frame of a massive theoretical robot, turning a design with no hope of operating any time soon into something entirely functional.
This was the birth of the Machine Warrior Elysion: protector of humanity and destroyer of evil!
