𝗔𝗜𝗞𝗢's life turns upside down. The inhabitants of Tokyo have disappeared and the city is filled with vegetation. She's scared. Confused. 𝜗𝜚 When the sun sets on her first day in the 𝐁𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃 and the digital screens say that a game arena has opened she decides to have a look, not knowing she's condemning herself to a measured life and participation in fatal games to survive.

Somehow, Aiko survived the game of 𝒮𝗣𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗦 she entered. But no one truly escapes the horrors of their first game. Haunted, petrified and alone, she decides to follow the group of men with 𝒩UMBERED ℬRACELETS. They discover her after a short amount of time, blindfold and drag her to a location unknown to her.

After a short interrogation, Aiko is welcomed to 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝕭𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛, a safe haven for the players. During her second game, she meets 𝗔𝗡𝗡, who falls in love with her teammate in the game of Human Elevator.

But loving someone in this version of the world is a 𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘, for they may die at any moment, and the cause of their death could be yours. And for their sake, it's not any easier.

The Beach may be a utopia, but homophobia is still existent, and because of their difference in class, an open relationship is 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗘. Even worse when a certain someone takes a liking to Aiko.
