Its been.. A rough year for Wizard. After a unfortunate accident, his home burnt down. While he managed to escape in time, his parents weren't so lucky.
With no relatives who can take him in, he now has to go through the grueling process of the foster system. Although, Luckily for him, he immediately finds a new home. Its perfect. Too perfect. His new father, blueberry, has two kids already, a great house in a kind neighborhood, an active member in the community, and lives right next to a great school. Despite all of this.. Something is. Wrong, very wrong.
Something only Wizard and a few friends can sense.
Will Wizard cookie ever find out whats wrong? Or will he become the next john doe, found in some alley way.

When he finds her picture mysteriously on his desk, a very nosy Roquefort who won't stop asking questions, and what seems an unsolvable case, he finds he needs to confront his past once and for all.
