The year is 1989, and there is a murder in the small town of Hawkins, England. When three best friends accidentally stumble upon clues to who did it, they show the police. They, however, are not believed due to who they suspect: the older brother of the victim. He comes from a wealthy family with the best lawyers, so the friends plot to get him alone for questioning. Upon hearing his story, they realize he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time, but he did have some crucial evidence to who murdered his little brother. The evidence however, is out of this world. Literally.
