Percy Jackson is strong. Stronger than he should have had to be. People see that in the way he gives everyone a chance and how he can make an entire room laugh or happy. They see the way he leads everyone even if he's scared himself. The way he stays strong and doesn't break down.
Elion, in every sense of the word, is new. He's new to having several siblings, being in a camp full of special kids, sword training and all. He's also new to his powers and abilities.
Percy is outgoing, kind and oblivious.
Elion is nice, blunt and seeing.
Percy doesn't know yet that fate has tied him to someone like Elion, someone who sees through him in a way no one else does.
