Ivy Green is probably the sweetest girl the world has ever had; generous, kind, spirited, always willing to help and giving her brightest smile to anyone needing a little sunshine on their greyish days.
Like any other girl, she has dreams; she wants to sing to a wide audience on an illuminated stage with all the spot lights on her. But another dream of hers, a romantic one at that, wishes to find the perfect man for her; a generous man, polite and kind, who gives her flowers and offers his shoulder whenever she needs to cry. But it doesn't matter what she does, all her boyfriends have turned out to be major walking red flags, and she doesn't seem to notice unlike her childhood best friend, Damien.

Damien Dmitriev is an intimidating man, to say the least; tall, broad, sending death glares to anyone who ever turns to see Ivy with the wrong intentions in mind. He looms over Ivy whenever he walks behind her, saying it's to keep her safe but Ivy always takes it as a joke. She doesn't know it or she probably ignores it, but he has the biggest, fattest, crush on her since primary school despite his usual cold demeanor. Damien has a soft spot for her, if it wasn't obvious yet. Even if it hurts him and feels like a part of himself breaks whenever he sees her fall in love for another man that will take advantage of her kindness, he has promised to himself to always support and help her achieve her dreams; doesn't matter how big or far they are. And it doesn't matter if her dream is to find a man that isn't him to stay by her side, he'll always help her, even if it pains him.
