The world has been devastated by a major apocalypse because of a failed experiment by researchers. A single fight for the survival of humans, animals and mutants, including the last surviving members of the Hamato family. A fight against undead creatures or mad soldiers and warriors who had already seen a lot. The last Ronin, only forty years old, found an old machine belonging to his deceased genius brother that could send a maximum of one person back in time. He asked his eldest niece to go, who initially refused because she did not want to leave her family alone, but after a long discussion she finally went.
He asked his niece to save the future at all costs to avoid this hell and he also gave her an old map with their old hiding place marked on it. "Find me and my Brothers from twenty-five years ago" is all she know from her Uncle.

Before you can even process this bizarre reunion, you and your dad are victims of an attempted kidnapping, you being rescued by 4 mutant turtle brothers, who offer to help you find your father. As you get to know them better, you find yourself drawn into their world while trying to understand what's going on with your memories. Little do you know, there's more to your connection with these heroes than meets the eye. Eventual MC x Donatello relationship. A remake of Donatello and April's original relationship dynamic, but slow burned and unrushed, so they can build a true friendship before discovering that either of them have feelings for the other. --------------- I always felt like Donnie crushin' on April in the show was a bit off, especially 'cause she never felt the same way and it felt kind of forced. Chatted with my sis 'bout this ongoing plot in the series, and it hit me - the show could've been way cooler if April and Donatello had a tighter connection, giving 'em both the character development they deserved. Figured I had nothin' to lose, so this's what came outta that chat. Hope you dig it! First time putting words on paper, fingers crossed it ain't too shabby. Plus, English isn't my first language, so sorry if the phrasing is a bit off. Just in case, I'll mention neither TMNT 2012 or the fanart used for the cover are mine.
