You live a mostly quiet life. Having moved to Toronto three months ago, your days are a blur of lectures, cheap coffee, and half-hearted guitar strumming in your tiny apartment. You don't amount to anything much, and you're not looking to, either.

That is until a flyer ends up on your doorstep, a local band looking for a secondary guitarist.

"Local band seeks secondary guitarist. Must be loud. Must not suck."

You show up out of curiosity.

Good news: you're in. Bad news: the drummer, Kim Pine, is an asshole.
