2006. Hawkins. Everything was great since the monsters were gone. They re-built the starcourt mall, new restaurants and they even built a basketball field in the park. But something came again, right in the middle of 2006. And no one knew what was it since they closed the gate back in 1987.

Dustin went away to camp, and Mike and El have hooked up. Max and Lucas have actually started a relationship and Will's kind of been a third wheel.
