Looking at the dim walls of the haunted house, Jungkook's breath hitched when he spotted a familiar smile among the photographs of people who had passed away.
There was Taehyung.
He spun around, heart breaking, to see Taehyung standing beside him.
"You're... dead, aren't you?" Jungkook's voice barely a whisper, trembling with pain.
Taehyung stood quietly beside him, a faint, sorrowful smile touching his lips.
"I wish I weren't. I wanted to stay, I wanted to whisper my love to you beneath the sakura's bloom that day, but death pulled me away before I could even say goodbye."
