Annabeth has been kidnapped. But to make matters worse; it's all Hera's fault. Having lost her power, Hera believes that Annabeth is the key to getting it back. But Percy is done with her foolish games. It's time he starts taking things into his own hands.
The story takes place after The Blood of Olympus, so spoilers will be included inside the chapters.
The first chapter is short but the ones following are much longer.

Annabeth is part of the Chases, the family that runs one of the departments of the Magistrates. Annabeth's father, Frederick, runs this department. It takes care of all petty crimes. One day, Annabeth is sitting in on one of her father's court sessions and Percy is brought in, beaten bloody.
