Divide and you shall reign

In a parallel universe where there is an Earth containing an eighth continent named Einow and people of different species than humans, Jemma Auverfeng, a sylvan elf and former slave of an illegal elven trafficking ring, joins the Pranelf College with her two best friends and her adoptive sister. The Pranelf College is renowned for training othars, individuals whose job is to apprehend non-human criminals. As in all colleges for non-human beings, the students also learn to control and understand the biological source of their power, which they call koraghus. However, the lives of Jemma and her best friends will change forever when they discover that they have powers unknown to scientists. Between a serial killer on the loose, prisoners escaping from a penitentiary, and rampant racism propagated by the elites of elven society that divides them, the three young elves will have to learn to control their mysterious powers without the help of science.
