Clarice Lawless is an aspiring rockstar living in New York City with nothing but with a music degree and a dream. Having come from a musical family, she has built up a small following in the local music scene, but is struggling to really go anywhere or be taken seriously as a female singer and guitarist. But everything changes when she goes to California with her brother, where she meets a certain frontman.
