Taken from their homes, humans find themselves in the possession of the vampiric race, which is flourishing in all important matters. Technology the humans call sorcery, knowledge the humans call blasphemy, and beliefs the humans do not share. Like the possession of a human being a rightful thing, is one of those beliefs.
Since Their Majesty allowed it, keeping humans became ordinary. An abundance of humans have to live a life they didn't choose, their only goal is to survive, nothing more. They go through their day like hollow shells, dead and aimlessly wandering this world. A description, in fact, not too far away from a vampire.
When these two worlds collide between the human and vampiric protagonists of this tale, we will see where the peak of progress and loneliness lead us.
