Melody Rose is an aspiring ballerina, however her journey hasn't been easy. Her mother has exploited her constantly for years, emotionally, and physically abusing her until it all ends with her getting arrested. Everything seemed to be going normal for her senior year, until she meets the Canadian foreign exchange student, Anya Woods and falls head over heels in love. Anya's parents just got a nasty divorce, and she moved to a new place all at once. Anya and Melody begin to build their relationship with each other overcoming challenges in the way.
