At just 18, Yeonjun had already given up on love. After a string of failed relationships and broken hearts, he didn't want romance anymore, just someone to come home to. So he made a decision most people wouldn't,
he adopted a child.
Choi Beomgyu was ten years old. quiet, distant, rarely speaking unless necessary. Yeonjun saw a reflection of himself in the boy-reserved, observant, a little lost. Maybe raising him would give his life meaning again.
and for a while, it did.
But Beomgyu wasn't just growing up.
He was falling in love, with the one person he was never supposed to love.
Years pass. Beomgyu tries to ignore the way his heart races around his stepfather. He tells himself it's nothing. just admiration, a phase. But as he turns of age and the feelings don't go away, he realize,
this isn't childish confusion.
This is love.
The only problem is... Yeonjun still sees him as a son.
until one day, maybe he doesn't.
