NiGHTS Goes to Hell

This series is a combined adaptation of the oft-forgotten NiGHTS series and its two games, "NiGHTS Into Dreams" and "NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams." It plays out in the Night Dimension, a dream world that comes to life when humans go to sleep. It's made up of two lands: Nightopia, where good dreams take place, and Nightmare, the appropriately named land of nightmares. Wizeman, the ruler of Nightmare, is stealing dream energy, known as Ideya, from people's minds, hoping to use it to take over the entire Night Dimension.
Four kids, Elliot Edwards and Claris Sinclair from the United States and William Taylor and Helen Cartwright from the United Kingdom, find themselves in Nightopia, pulled inside by Nights, an eccentric resident of Nightopia who knows...maybe too much about Wizeman's plans. As it turns out, these four possess the Red Ideya of Courage, the only type that Wizeman won't steal. That makes them the perfect candidates to help Nights stop Wizeman. Using Nights's power, each of them can use their minds to control Nights's body. Together, they resolve to defeat Wizeman and balance the dream world.
