Charity-Faith plays piano for the choir.
Jolene smokes behind the steeple.
And somewhere in the woods, something-or someone-watches.

This town was supposed to be safe.
But people go missing.
Men wear masks.
And saints don't look like they used to.

Charity is trying to forget what happened to her childhood best friend.
Trying to survive her father, the pastor of St. Abigail's Church of Purity.
Trying to be good.

Jolene is trying to pretend everything's fine.
Trying to keep her alcoholic, deadbeat mother alive.
Trying not to want more.

On one fateful night, the girls go to a Saints of Sorrow concert, not prepared for what they're about to entangle themselves in. After run-ins with masked men who don't seem entirely human, cryptic notes begin to appear, and whispers of missing people begin to circle the town.

Charity and Jolene find themselves drawn into a world far darker-and far closer-than they ever imagined.
The music isn't the only thing haunting them now.
