All shifters shift at 16. And so did Amber. But it wasn't how she expected it to be.

Each family of shifters shift into different animals. Most families change to birds, cats, or dogs. The Knight family phases into Lycans, and so will Amber Knight, youngest daughter of the Knight family. 

Obviously, she's oozing happiness at the chance to change into a Lycan, the strongest species in the world. Until, the day comes and she shifts into a bird, the smallest anyone has ever seen. 

Her family immediately disowns her, as they pride themselves on their massive size, and throw her into The Forbidden Forest, where hunters lurk, waiting for the chance to kill any Shifter that comes into sight. 

Soon, she will find her true potential and must face her biggest fears. How will she make it back out alive?
