(y/n) just wants to escape her past - a quiet life away from the chaos of the Muggle world and the shadows of her own trauma. When she lands a position as an assistant to Hogwarts' notorious Potions Master, Professor Severus Snape, she thinks it's the fresh start she desperately needs.

But (y/n) quickly realizes she's in way over her head. With no potion skills and a past full of pain and abuse she's trying to heal from, every day is a challenge - especially with Snape, who is colder and more distant than she expected. Then, a single mistake lands her in the hospital wing and threatens to unravel everything - not just her future, but his as well.

As they are forced together, walls begin to crumble and scars slowly surface. Their connection becomes a fragile thread between darkness and healing, trust and fear.

This slow-burn story explores the painfuln journey of trauma, the difficult path toward recovery, and the complicated distance that can either divide or unite two broken souls.

This is my first story and I really don't know what I'm doing. I'll try to update a lot but I'm not sure how much time I will have since school is starting soon.

In this time line Voldemort isnt really involved and rarely mentioned.
This does not follow the timeline of the Harry Potter books.
