Chloe's new school

Today is my first day at my new school, I’m so excited, but there‘s just one thing... I have a really embarrassing dad. It all started when my mum decided to marry a man who is now my dad. There is so many things that he does to embarrass me but let me tell you the most embarrassing thing, his last name, that’s right guess what it is, it’s stupid, it’s actually pronounced st-up-ied but no one says it properly. Everyone at my old school finally learned how to say it right, but then my dad had a GREAT idea to move houses, which wasn't actually a great idea because that meant I would have to move schools, and everyone at my old school just learnt how to say my last name properly, now everyone at my new school will have to learn it to, what am I going to do!

I’m in the car on my way to school, I’m so nervous and to make me feel even worse my dad is taking me to school today because my mum had to take my little brother Mason to kinder. We finally arrive at school and I jump out of the car and go to the office to see what grade I’m in, the person in the office said I was in 5C, which was pretty cool because my favourite number is 5 and my favourite letter is C, don’t ask me why they are my favourites because they just are my favourites. Anyway as I’m walking to my class I think about all the mean things that I will get called, but what I’m really thinking about is how much I miss my best friend Amelia. On my last day at my old school we both cried in each other’s arms, and just thinking about it makes me get tears in my eyes. I quickly wipe my tears, then I say bye to my dad and walk into class.
