~Entangled in him~

"I'm sorry", he whispered.
And just like that, the cruelty in him cracked.
The harsh Sylareth faded (if only for a moment) and Saryn returned.
She lunged from the bed without thinking, wrapped her arms around him, and held everything he carried-his heaviness, his scars, his silence, his sins.
She kissed his forehead gently,like she still believed he was worth loving.
She caressed him in a way she had only imagined in all the months which she spent missing him.
Because even in his absence, she never stopped loving him.
Not even when he became unrecognizable.
Like love could forgive everything he did.
She still wanted to take him back, even after all the ruin.

She could never forget his tears - (or maybe crocodile tears) but she didn't care because she was still that same soft,innocent girl who loved him too deeply.
And he was the monster she couldn't unlove - no matter how many times he asked her to.

He left like she meant nothing-shattering her, not knowing he only gave her more pieces to love him with.
Now she spends her nights tracing his memory like a wound that never heals-unable to move on, unwilling to let go, still haunted by his ghost
She loves him too much.
Silently yet desperately
But he ruined himself-bit by bit, turning icecold
He became everything she hated, like he wanted her to hate him.
Silent love is difficult isn't it?
She drowns in distractions, but nothing silences his absence
Love this deep doesn't die - it haunts

Now he's back.
Colder.
Crueler.
Ruder
But Still he's the only one who makes her feel alive.

Can she unlove the person who shattered her?
Or will she keep drowning in his love?
But what would break her most wasn't that he left but it was the thought that he might love someone else.
