April is a champion figure skater with big ambitions and even bigger prospects. At the rink, she's a winner. Beneath the surface, the pressure is slowly killing her.

When a devastating accident leaves her with career-stalling injuries, she's sent to a mindfulness retreat with none other than the boy who caused the accident. She now has to deal with her infuriating enemy, Caden, who also happens to be the star hockey captain.

When April begins to realise that there's more to Caden than meets the eye, their relationship begins to change. He challenges her in ways she's never been challenged, and she craves the warmth that she sees in his eyes.

But April has sacrificed so much for her career, and now she has no direction. She doesn't know if she can forgive Caden, but if she doesn't, her anger might consume her.
