Love me with pain

They were lovers-inseparable, wild and tender. Until tragedy shattered everything.
The last message he received was a coming from his sister in law that his partner is stabbed
His hands trembled. His heart raced. Without thinking, he ran out into the night, desperate to reach him. While waiting to a cab or any vehicle that can get him to a hospital .
But fate was cruel.
In the blink of an eye, headlights blinded him-
A screech. A crash.
Then, darkness.
When he woke up, he didn't remember a thing. Not his name, not his past... not even the boy he swore he'd love forever.
The man who hit him-wealthy, calm, calculating-offered him shelter. A new home. A new life. He gave him a name, dressed him in new clothes, changed his hair, his voice, his entire world.
And then came an offer.
"A friend of mine is looking for an assistant. You need a job... why don't you try it?"
He said yes.
But the friend... the one he'd now be working with...
