Fourteen-year-old Marcelin was perfectly fine being left on the Isle. He had no interest in Auradon's spotless streets or its goody-two-shoes rules - and definitely no interest in leaving his villain life behind. But his overprotective sister, Mal, didn't see it that way. With help from Evie, Jay, and Carlos, she smuggled him past the barrier after a screaming match where Marcelin swore he could take care of himself.

The gamble paid off - reopening the border was too risky, and soon to be King Ben allowed him to stay.

Now stuck at Auradon Prep, Marcelin is pure chaos in a world built on manners. Carlos is still his best friend, Jay is still like another older brother, and Evie... well, she's the one he's been hopelessly in love with for years, mostly because she gets the VK way of life. But when he meets Chloe - all sunshine, kindness, and fairytale-perfect smiles - catches his attention, Marcelin finds himself torn. She doesn't understand villains but for some reason she sees something good in him , and he doesn't want to hurt her.

He has no plans to turn good. He's not interested in "changing." But love has a way of rewriting the story - even for the most stubborn villain kid in Auradon.
