A strange monolith appears in the middle of the woods outside of the town of Rusty Orchards, Oregon. Seemingly indestructible and immovable, nobody placed it there, and nobody knows where it came from. An unusual occurrence.
I will try to post a chapter or two every week, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep it up tbh, my attention span is to short

Ayn's Healing
Ayn is a witch with healing powers. Shapeshifters have killed her parents and the only animals she cannot speak with are wolves. When she graduates from the Teaching Clan and finds out that she has to cross the River and live in the Wolves' Mountains for one year, she is less than amused. Kari, first-born shapeshifter Alpha, almost lost his wolf after the death of his mate. He could rise again and become the pack leader if only he would complete his training ...and find another suitable Luna. When he realizes that his second chance is his mother's guest, a daydreaming stubborn witch from across the River, he is less than amused. The bond may be a strong force, but can a witch walk the Wolves' Way and face the dangers it is paved with? **** "I need to stop..." I sigh, catching her wrist before her fingers reach the back of my neck, and I untangle her arm from me. She lingers on the recliner but now there is a big gap between our bodies. "The last time I was able to sleep, I was covered with your hoodie. Your scent is comforting." She states it plainly as if it would be an obvious and broadly known fact. Like the Earth being round. A series of short horror stories about hunters of the paranormal. Part 1 - The Gardener Two men arrive at a small town in rural Oregon. Children are going missing. The forests are burning down. Panic is setting in, and time is running out. M and J might not be the brightest of hunters, but they'll do what they can. Part 2 - The Unheard A solo hunter named Lilith leads a trio of teenagers to confront a ghost in their high school. She never used to believe in ghosts. Never used to believe in any of this. But the facts were the facts, and she'd been fired for trying to tell the truth. She isn't about to stop trying to protect people, though. Part 3 - The Library Card Crosby is an old hunter. This isn't his first time seeing a situation like this. People disappearing into a building for days. None of them coming back. No way to know what's waiting for him inside. No way to find out but to go into the old library himself. Part 4 - The Waiting Demons There are demons waiting everywhere, ready to pounce on the smallest sign of weakness. THE ELDRITCH OCCURRENCE ON WESTWOOD ISLE
SHORT STORY (Synopsis) - In 1702 before Alaska was even discovered, Captain William Westwood, an English explorer, his crew and their wenches got lost at sea. When the tide receded their ship became aground forcing them to travel by foot. Taking what they could from their vessel, they journeyed into the unknown, logging in scripture every step of the way. Months later, they would find a place called heaven's gate. Just outside the mouth of the cave, the prehistoric symbol is chiselled into the rock face. The cave itself was filled with precious metals. For this prehistoric marking, the circle represented the endless land and the cross inside represented the crossroads between happiness and sorrow in one's own universe. A reminder to never stray away from ancient ideologies. Beyond, a beautiful place was ready to be discovered. A small body of water acted as a moat around the isle. The Captain knew this was a perfect place to start his colony. In the end, the settlers were authors of their own fate." Everyone has a story, some are more interesting than others. Occasionally there's one that is so unique it can't be real. Well, this wasn't just a story for Francis Cowen, in the end this would be all that he would remember. After Papa Ben's deathbed confession, as surreal as it may have sounded. A story that included a pair of mythological creatures told in folklore, a civilized colony trading with uncivilized native clans and what were the words the old man spoke; and an eldritch occurrence had taken place. Surely this last tale of his couldn't be real. However, the artifacts contained inside that locked box was convincing enough for the boy. Knowing what had taken place on that isle and only eighteen years old at the time he was told the tale, Francis would dedicated his life preparing for an expedition to bring his grandfather's ashes back to his rightful home.Complete
