Raul and Mia are in their last year of High School and are playing their last year of soccer. Raul notices her but Mia doesn't pay attention to guys because she is focused on going pro and her education. Mia is also really close with her best friends Miley and Aliyah who are also on the soccer team. Raul tries to find ways to talk to her and his friends try to encourage him but he doesn't know how to because he's seen how focused she is. Mia is Mexican and her mom only speaks Spanish and she lives with her Mom and with an older sister and a younger brother. Mia's mom is the sweetest person ever, making sure everyone is taken care of and Mia is the sweetest girl and has done no wrong because she sees her mom as a role model. Mia's dad passed when she was in 8th grade, Mia and her dad had this big dream of Mia going pro and she wants to achieve this goal for herself and him.
