Once, there was a girl named Concordia. She was not born in a palace, but her father made one. He took a crown, a kingdom, and a title that didn't belong to him-and gave her the only life she was allowed to live: the life of a princess. Draped in silver, robed in silk, and sharpened like a blade, she's raised to smile, bow, and bleed for the throne. Every day, it's the same old lesson: be perfect, or be replaced Then the Rew return. They are not monsters, exactly. They are older than monsters-older than memory, than truth, than thrones. With their arrival, the kingdom collapses overnight. Her family is slaughtered. Her people vanish. And Concordia, the girl who was never meant to rule, is left alone to face a world steeped in blood and ruin. No longer hidden behind her role, she's left with a secret only she seems to understand. But the deeper she looks, the more the lines blur between myth and memory, between duty and destiny, between who she is and who she was never allowed to become. If Concordia wants to stop the Rew, she'll have to learn how to cry. How to fight. How to fail gloriously. Because being a princess isn't who she is. It's just where her story begins.

Prophesied at birth that she would defeat Poseidon's last remaining enemy once she reached the age of eighteen, Amarédasse has been kept virtually a prisoner in her own home and unaware of the prophecy by orders of her father, Poseidon, while her older brothers and sisters enjoy the freedom that she craves. One day, just before her eighteenth birthday, Amarédasse inadvertently discovers a secret passageway while exploring the palace basement with her cousins, Hebe and Makaria. Once the young mermaid princess uses the passageway to escape she begins to explore the outside world and she comes across a human kingdom whose patron god is none other than her own father. As Amarédasse explores the kingdom she then unknowingly meets its Crown Prince and falls deeply in love with him she is unaware that her father's enemy is watching her every move waiting for an opportunity to strip her of her life. Will Poseidon trust his daughter with the truth and tell her why he kept her locked up her whole life? Will Amarédasse fulfill the prophecy and bring the Golden Age back to all humans and merfolk? Will Amarédasse and her prince live happily ever after like her parents? Read and find out. I dedicate this sequel to my Poseidon fanfiction story to the creator of the Sims 3 machinima trilogy VanityMovies and the entire cast. Yeah, I painted the cover although even I have to admit I'm not much of an artist and I'm still learning how to work that thing.
