The Things I Didn't Say (Ginny & Georgia - Marcus Baker POV)
I kissed the girl across the street. Then I ruined everything.
Ginny Miller wasn't supposed to matter.
She was just the new girl-quiet, complicated, weirdly good at pretending she was fine. I wasn't supposed to notice her. I definitely wasn't supposed to sneak through her window, fall into her bed, or tell her things I've never said out loud.
But I did.
And then I broke it.
Because that's kind of my thing.
Now she's with someone else. The school thinks I'm a stoner cliché. My sister wants to kill me. And the one girl who actually saw through my bullshit? She won't even look at me.
This isn't a love story.
(Except maybe it is.)
It's about grief. And guilt. And how sometimes the scariest thing in the world isn't losing someone-it's being seen by them.
If you like:
✘ bad decisions
✘ slow burns with too much staring
✘ late-night texts and worse timing
✘ soft boys with sharp edges
✘ and girls who climb through windows like they own the night-
then, cool. Welcome to the chaos.
I'm Marcus Baker.
And these are the things I didn't say.
Until now.
