THOMAS BRODIE SANGSTER FANS COME HERE
---
La Belle had always been a happy home.
That was, until the accident.
(Y/n) McNue, daughter of the town's Sheriff, grew up in the dust and warmth of a place where everyone knew your name - and your business. It wasn't much, but it was enough. Then the mine collapsed, and the men of La Belle were all lost in one day.
In the wake of that loss, the women clawed their way through grief and grit, piecing together a life from the ruins. Their home feels empty. Their lives are changed forever.
Now it has been two years, and a new storm brews.
Frank Griffin - outlaw, killer, devil in a preacher's coat - is riding again. And Roy Goode, the man who betrayed him, is bleeding his way across the desert... straight toward La Belle.
As old ghosts rise and new gunfire shatters the dust, (Y/n) must reckon with the deepest truths of who she is, what she's lost, and who she might still become.
Because even the strongest faith can't always save you. Not here.
Not in Godless Lands.

EEE this is a less done fanfic but it follows the plot of the Netflix Miniseries, Godless, with a little friends to lovers moment with (Y/n) McNue and our Deputy Sheriff, Whitey Winn.
If using your own name for (Y/n) or creating an OC in your head, I'd recommend giving it a southern twang so you can really immerse into these character's westernness 😌
I do warn you about the grammar that you are going to encounter. It is meant to be this way, as I'm really trying to embrace the wild Wild West 😉

Note- If you haven't read the first book you can still read this one. However, if you want a better understanding of the main character than I suggest reading Book one and then Book two because things from the first book will be mentioned throughout this one.
