Life was once beautiful there. When the curtains fell, so did their world. Now that only heavy silence and distant memories remain, the music waits to come alive once more...

Sylvie has always felt connected to the past, but never her own. When she's invited to investigate the remains of the long abandoned, dilapidated Kit Kat Club, she agrees without a second thought, even bringing along some friends. It was a chance to go above and beyond in the workforce, get her name out there, really start a life for herself as a successful historian.

But since returning home, her dreams have never been normal. The line between what's real and imaginary blurs. The blank space in her memories becomes clearer, and painted faces she shouldn't know visit her again and again. And the same, mysterious figure beckons her back each night, eager to say "Wilkkommen, beinvenue, welcome" one last time.

The story of Cabaret was far from over after the lights dimmed. What happened behind the facade of a perfect world reflects why some refuse to be left behind so easily. Their memories are sharp despite the time gone by, and they're eager for their encore performance.
