Hindi lahat ng may magandang storya o may super powers ay kailangang galing sa hirap,  pinagmalupitan ng step mothers, o kaya naman sinumpa o di kaya naman ay bidang napaka bait at perpekto na mahihiya ka sa kalinisan ng kalooban o kung anu man na napaka tipikal sa storya ng mga Pilipino at ilang dekada nang naikkwento ng paulit ulit sa iba't ibang pagkakasalaysay.

Ito ang kwento na magbabago ng takbo ng storyang Pilipino. Isang taong mahilig sa tubig na ipinanganak na may palikpik sa ilalim ng tenga (fish gill) na pinagtibay ng kanyang ama dahil sa syensya upang makagawa ng mga bagay bagay  sa ilalim ng tubig, alamin ang buhay na mayroon at makatagal sa ilalim ng dagat. lalo na ang makabalik sa kahapon at makrating sa hinaharap.

Ang kakayahang ito ng isang taong may palikpik ay tinatawag na isang Aguano,  sila ay kasa kasama natin ngunit hindi pa natin napapansin. Ating tuklasin kung paanong gagamitin ang kanilang kakayahan. Ito ba ay dadalhin nila para sa kabutihan o gagamitin para sa kasamaan?
