Akari Uchiha lost everything. Her older brother, Shisui, knew what was coming and sent her away to another village. Not much later, she is found by Itachi Uchiha and told the truth regarding the Hidden Leaf Village and what happened to Shisui.

Akari swears revenge on the one who stole her brothers eye. This leads to her joining the Akatsuki. Although she is fixated on her goal, her mind constantly wanders back to the boy she met in the Hidden Sand Village.
