During the Regency era, in Cambria (North England), Josephine Fairfax is a noblewoman, who by now has passes the marriageable age; in the past she has been engaged to a gentleman, who did not carry out the engagement and now, as it is custom, he is providing her an income as a reparation for her reputation. After the gentlemen returns in Cambria, Josephine, unexpectedly, receives another proposal by him. A proposal that her family does not approve, given the past outrage to them. However Mr. Talbot seemed to be honestly changed from the young man he was before. DO NOT COPY, DISCLOSE OR SHARE ANY PART OF THE STORY. *Book 3 in the Regency Series- can be read as a standalone.* Alexandra Whitlock grew up to be a romantic. However, upon her release into society at nineteen, she finds that it isn't all romance and balls. So, when she ventures to London at the ripe age of twenty for her first season, she is determined to not let anyone catch her eye. But, unfortunately, His Grace, Richard Kensington, Duke of Exeter throws a wrench in her plans. A devastatingly handsome, charming rake, she has never met a soul quite like him. When, somehow, she finds herself engaged to him for reasons far from love, she can't help but wonder whether loving him is a possibility.
