"My name is Khalil Porter. The year is 2025 F.S.-or as you would say, A.D. I am a master assassin, or eliminator, and my allegiance is to a very old order called MORI QUAM FOEDARI. This civilization has existed since before the towers of Babylon were built, even before the word "assassin" was coined.

For millennia or megaannums, the MORI QUAM FOEDARI have committed assassinations and gathered intelligence on every living creature, dead being, or entity in existence. We were there when Egyptian rulers claimed themselves to be new gods, when the Sumerians created the first known writing system, and when Eridu built their temples out of mud-bricks and lived in reeds. Some references in our libraries even suggest we were present when Atlantis sank to the bottom of the ocean.

Being an assassin isn't just about killing or murdering humans for misinterpreting selfish reasons, religious beliefs or political gain. That's a limitation of the imagination of simple humans. Of course, we've helped remake kingdoms and destroyed nations with quick, precise strikes from our blades. But here's the thing: on this planet, believe it or not, humans aren't the only living or dead inhabitants.

The shadows are full of all manner of supernatural and unnatural beings. Even the purest beings of light have fallen under our blades. No, our civilization are not saviors in the war between good and evil. We are assassins, eliminators of existence, bringers of life and death.
