Another Day

"I can still remember the days before my life changed, waking up and seeing my family and my friends, I don't know when I'll get to see that ever again. I miss when I could bike to school and see familiar faces, although the faces I know now are familiar.
Sitting in this room feels surreal, every morning I wake up thinking it was all a dream, "will I ever go back to the life I had? Will I ever see them again?" Who knows? Maybe whoever is there now knows all of me, maybe she knows me inside and out, yet I'm still here after a few years still clueless as to why this has happened to me. To us.
It's time for me to get to work, I have a strict schedule I need to stick with. If I don't do what I'm supposed to do every single day, I might lose my mind, I need to stay on track and keep searching for answers."
