Skylar lives in a world where werewolves roame woods at night, fairies help fresh flowers bloom, warlocks and witches such as herself cast spells at their disposal and mermaids guard the oceans. In this world vampires ruled while other creatures were second class. Skylar didn't hate vampires in fact she loved their king Vladimir who was as fair to the second in class as was permitted. His son Xavier is gorgeous, strong, smart, brave and just so happens to be Skylar's crush though he doesn't share the same leniency towards second classes as his father.
When a powerful vampire with a deep rooted hatred of second class threatens to destroy them all, faith brings Skylar and her friends,along with Xavier to go on the dangerous journey to Crystal Gem Mountain in a desperate attempt to save everything they care about.
