Adaeze (AH-DEH-ZEH) has never had a boyfriend-and she's fine with that. Honestly. But try telling that to her best friend who wants nieces and nephews, her mother who swears she'll die alone, or her star student who thinks it's tragic that her favorite teacher has no one to love.

Enter Ameena Kurr, top of her class at Miligins STEM Academy for Girls and far too clever for her own good. Determined to fix Adaeze's love life, Ameena builds a dating app to help her find "the one." The app is genius! Unfortunately, it's also illegal. As in, she used the FBI's facial recognition software to power it.

Now the code has caught the attention of some very bad people. And one very pissed-off hacker working with the FBI. He's cold, cocky, and far too smug for someone chasing criminals... and somehow also the most attractive man Adaeze's ever seen. The worst part? He clearly can't stand her.

Thrown together in a dangerous mess of surveillance tech, cyber threats, and a growing list of enemies, Adaeze and her student have to rely on the last people she ever thought she'd trust, the feds. And somewhere between dodging criminals and decoding feelings, Adaeze might just find herself falling for the one person she swore she'd never like.
