Every living being has a soulmate, with very few being soul bound to another. But Corine, a young huntress-a human-didn't have the marking. The marking of your soulmate. The mark you receive at the first age of double digits. Corine never got hers. Which can mean two things: either your soul is bound to another, or you will die alone because you don't have a soulmate. 

Corine didn't mind either of those options for a little while. That is, until she entered her teen years and all her peers found their fated mates. 

By the age of sixteen, she was recruited by Celine of the Sunlight Sisters to train and protect the Honmoon in a female Idol group: Huntr/x. 

Hunters generally don't receive their marking until their late twenties to early thirties, so Corine thought that was the reasoning. 

But when the Honmoon nearly reaches Gold, and Gwi-Ma sends a demon boyband by the name of Saja Boys to help round up souls; Corine feels a pull toward a certain member.
