Flowercrest is a parallel world where the extinct and endangered flowers on earth are gifted a second life. The healing magic from the Heartblossom Tree is what sustains their growth. But now, one by one, its petals are falling. A dark magic that contains the earth's pollution has reached the Flowercrest, slowly poisoning the land. Only twenty-five blooms remain, and the petals' chosen heirs must compete to determine the new Lord and Lady of seadbearers who will become the tree's protectors. Then, on the day of the trial, an unknown woman named Isadrel Redsphyre appears-claiming to be the twenty-sixth contender.

Book One: Some gardens grow flowers. Others grow secrets. When Elias tends to the forgotten garden his mother once loved, he unknowingly awakens a realm hidden beneath petals and roots, a world bound to someone who hasn't aged in lifetimes. Althea, the keeper of the Realm of Light between worlds, reveals a truth buried in their family's past and a future shaped by meaningful trials. Together with his sister Lina, whose life was once slipping through her fingers, Elias must choose: to stay in a world that is slowly forgetting them, or cross the veil to become something more. But where magic blooms, darkness roots deeper. And some doors, once opened, do not close quietly.
