"The Summer We Disappeared" follows Haven Blain as she comes to terms with the disappearance, and possible death, of someone close to her.
Sage and Haven two sister took an unapproved trip to their family's private Calico Island. Originally planned as a family trip with all the parents and grandparents it was canceled due to the sisters having a incident at school.
As their parents and other relatives head to Italy, the teenagers were meant to stay home. However, Haven and Sage, mad the trip to calico was canceled, decided to go anyway while their parents were away. Despite everyone believing the trip was off, the allure of Calico Island, home to many, and its endless parties, as well as the promise of seeing their cousins and having all the Hallow 6 together for the first time in a while, proved too strong to resist. This leads to a summer filled with mystery and a devastating loss.
