I've lost the luxuries in your absence-I feel as if I've forgotten how to be confident, how to be cheerful. I can still acknowledge Finn's efforts to help with this, but I don't think it'll work. He's said less fishy jokes, if that can somehow get you to come back. Hoarding treasures without you spooking anyone feels worse. Flutter won't even reprimand me when I try to snag a few things and leave it in that chest in your room. Yes, I'm fully aware of its existence.

You'd probably laugh at me for being miserable, but I'd argue back with whether or not you were really confident about everyone else caring. But: even if the other Toons slowly forgot about you or get replaced by another drop-off from the Train, I'll remember you. Even if you end up possessing a different form, body, or even a stranger's soul, I'll never mistaken those smirks and the dramatic cackles you'd have to creep out eavesdroppers.

This is my last vow for you in return of yours-I won't ever lose hope for you. You said you'd return, so I'll be right here by the gates with the key in my hand.
