This is inspired by the episode "Lazarus Rising" in Supernatural, where Castiel is introduced after having brought Dean back from hell. Everything before this point follows the original story, except now Matt and Mello find themselves brought back to life only shortly after having died. They have yet to find out who or what managed to do so (wink wink, it's you;))

I'm not planning for this fic to be too long, since the time between the deaths of Matt and Mello and the warehouse meeting with Near and Light is really short (like two days). But we'll see.  A sudden resurrection could canonically halt some things.All Rights Reserved
