<<"Please don't let it start again." Midoriya told me with finality, like he knew I'd agree, "all you have to do is love me. And then we can both live happily" >>

Bakugou never meant to be loved by Midoriya-and certainly not like this. In a way so destructive and intense that he could only be ensnared in the trap. In a world where love can kill and destiny is doomed to fail, very few let flowers bloom. Especially not roses. And most definitely not between them.

⸻ {Sparks That Never Died} Katsuki Bakugou and Izuku Midoriya were supposed to grow up together-best friends, side by side, saving the world. Instead, Katsuki burned every bridge he could touch, terrified of the one person who saw him completely. Izuku never stopped reaching for him. Now at U.A., they orbit each other like stars destined to collide-too close to ignore, too broken to pull apart. Katsuki's pride refuses to bend, but every time he looks at Izuku, something inside him cracks. And Izuku... he still smiles like nothing was ever broken, even when it hurts. When a new villain known only as Eclipse sets his sights on Izuku, the world gets darker. Old wounds reopen. Katsuki finds himself fighting a new kind of battle-one that can't be won with strength alone. Because this time, the thing he's afraid of losing... is the person he never stopped loving. Training sessions turn into late-night whispers. Shouted insults blur into shaky apologies. Hands meant to push away begin to hold on. Their relationship becomes a storm-slow-burn, explosive, and heartbreakingly gentle. As U.A. is thrown into chaos and Eclipse closes in, Katsuki has to decide: keep pretending he doesn't care, or tear down the walls he built and admit the truth- He never hated Izuku. He hated how much he needed him. Sparks That Never Died is a messy, emotional enemies-to-lovers journey filled with lingering touches, buried trauma, quiet healing, and a love that refuses to die-no matter how many times it's been thrown into the fire. Because some souls don't just meet... They collide. --- I do not own any of these characters, they belong to the writer/creator of my hero academia. I do not own the cover photo or the photos used in the chapters I have gotten them off of Pinterest. I only own the plot and idea for the story. Vote and comment on what you think. This is my first story.

A villain burns with envy and pride as he continues his reign of terror on the city he hates. What happens when these two keep running into each other? What happens when they're involvement with each other becomes to much for them? And what happens when another petal falls from the heroes lips? (Told from the perspective of mostly hawks but will also have Dabi POV as well.) CONTAINS MAJOR MANGA SPOILERS (Also, I am gonna make up a timeline that is as close to canon as I can get because it's relevant to the story)
