The Toons traveled to New Orleans for a costume party, in honor of Prince Naveen of Maldonia. They stopped at the cafe restaurant to meet Tiana, who dreams of owning her own restaurant. 

What the Toons didn't realize is that the prince had transformed into a frog from the evil witch doctor, Dr. Facilier also known as The Shadow Man. As they traveled through the swamp, they meet new friends, Louis the alligator who loves playing his trumpet and wants to perform the whole world. And Ray, a firefly who guides them through the woods, and prays for his love Evangeline.
