Mystery
Mark Elwood has no past-at least, none he can remember. A ghostwriter with a hunger for knowledge, he spends his days crafting other people's ideas, chasing meaning he can't quite touch. But when a celebrated philosopher is murdered, Mark unexpectedly inherits his private papers... and with them, a black folder that carries Mark's own name. Inside lies a thesis on the suppression of human memory-written in Mark's handwriting, under a name he no longer recognizes. Scrawled across the first page are four Latin words: **Post veritatem, silentium**. After truth, there is silence. Drawn into the orbit of Ava Lecrac-a brilliant, guarded woman with her own ties to a secretive organization known only as the Assembly-Mark begins to piece together fragments of who he once was. Each revelation pulls him deeper into a conspiracy where truth is a dangerous contagion, and memory is a weapon. But the closer they get to the core of Mark's past, the more he must ask: Was erasing himself an act of protection... or a betrayal he swore never to remember? In a world where knowledge grants power-and power demands silence-Mark must decide what comes after the silence
