Talia heard the ocean calling.

She just never expected it to answer.

When Talia (Malia Baker) begins having strange dreams about the sea, she can't shake the feeling that they're trying to lead her somewhere. So when she decides to follow that feeling, she doesn't go alone.

Her sister Skyee (Ruby Rose Turner) comes with her, as she always does, and never one to let Talia face something on her own. Kai (Kylie Cantrall) joins them too, confident, curious, and more willing than either of them to question what they're getting themselves into.

What starts as a search for answers soon becomes something much bigger.

A mysterious pearl draws the three girls into a world they never knew existed, awakening abilities they can't explain and revealing secrets that have been hidden beneath the waves for generations.

But discovering magic is only the beginning.

As their powers grow, so do the questions. Why were they chosen? What is the connection between them and the pearl? And why does Talia keep seeing the same woman in her dreams?

The deeper they get into the mystery, the more they realise that the ocean has been keeping secrets for a very long time and some of those secrets were never meant to be found.

Now the three girls have to learn how to control what they've become while trying to understand who they were meant to be. Along the way, their friendship will be tested, old truths will come to the surface, and Talia will have to decide just how far she's willing to go to find the answers.

Because the ocean didn't bring them together by accident.

And whatever is waiting beneath the waves has already chosen them.
