Now, left behind at Hogwarts while Harry finally gets to live his life. Rose is fractured, her magic unstable, her future unclear. A ruin among rebuilt walls.

Assigned to help her recover is Severus Snape, a man the world now sees as a hero, though he bears his own war-wounds in silence. When tasked with helping Rose to reclaim her magic, he expects resistance, hatred, and loathing. What he doesn't expect is the girl underneath: defiant, brilliant and broken in a way he understands all too well. He doesn't expect to see his pain reflected in hers. And he certainly doesn't expect to care for the daughter of his tormentor.

But between spells, potions, hexes and curses, something begins to grow.
