It must indicate that the city they've arrived in mirrors this cleanliness--aside from the disturbingly large numbers of people walking around with missing limbs or the unusual language that seems to slip out during conversations.
Carissa is the lucky human that gets to enter this exhilarating journey. But as an echo emanates from the last cart of the subway, she's no longer convinced that she's the only one present in this underground roller coaster.
